<CLICK> You hang up the phone. As you begin to speed dial his number you wonder exactly what are you going to say to him? Luckily the blood pumping through your pounding temples & burning cheeks are making you feel no fear when he answers after the 1st ring.
“Hello…” he has no clue what he is in for. You almost feel sorry for him when you hear how sweet his voice sounds when he answers. That blend of excitement & puppy love in his voice are charming but nothing will erase the sound of your best girlfriend telling you & all your other girlfriends about what he just did to you on FaceBook!
“I can’t believe you friended all those girls today! Don’t you work or have a life…all you have to do is sit around & friend girls all day? Do you think it’s right for some girl to say she “can’t wait to have some alone time w/you,” right on your wall?
“Darling, those are my cousins & high school friends…it’s nothing everyone knows about you & me baby,” he can almost see a sliver of light. He just may make it through this if he plays his cards right.

John Doe hangs his head because he knew that he’d been beat. There was simply no way he could get himself out of this corner tonight without a whole lot of work. She was NOT in the mood to listen to his excuse.

*Giggles…this a problem many of my friends are going through RIGHT NOW! My point of view is that if people are together they are. A piece of paper, nor a FB status will prevent a man from cheating if he wants to. It’s the commitment & moral value that a man has deep in his heart that determine that. IF you trust the person you are with, you won’t have to worry about what a FB status may say. Your partners action & reaction to the world around him/her will prove where his/her interest lie.
HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF…DEMAND RESPECT…EARN RESPECT BY GIVING IT

So… we just passed a health care plan written by a committee
whose chairman said he didn’t understand it,
passed by a Congress that exempts themselves from it,
signed by a president who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,
and financed by a country that’s broke?????

Sometimes in LIFE certain things “stick out,” & you don’t know why until much later…then everything seems to make sense.
A very dear friend is going through a difficult time. It’s the night before the judge officially ends a decade of marriage…a milestone not treasured, endured at best. What do you say to someone in this situation? I know how my heart broke at the loss of a loved on after a year, imagine 10 or 15 years?
Years ago I discovered this letter. It’s not exactly the same thing but I know I felt the same way I feel tonight the first time I read it…of course I changed the names to Dear John & Jane to protect the innocent, *Giggles. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Dear Jane,
It seems like forever since we’ve been together. These last few days until your divorce seem longer than I expected. Maybe I’m just taking more time out to think about my own situation & how I should handle it. I can only imagine what you are going through tonight.
I don’t know what the “right thing to do” IS in this type of situation. I’ve never been blessed with a spouse & children so I could never even imagine losing them in an instant after 10 years of marriage. You must be feeling so many things all at once right now.
A mix of EXCITEMENT for the new life that you have to create for yourself & the REGRET for the loss of the security 10 years of marriage provided you. Knowing what to expect from day to day, good or bad …at least you weren’t surprised. I know it will be hard for you but tomorrow will be the “1st day of the rest of your life!”
In these past few months our friendship has grown to love & our shared pain has helped build a connection that heals us both. Our journey so far has been together, making memories & creating promise for a brighter future. Tomorrow our paths must part. I love you…and I know that you need to take this leg of the journey alone, you have to relearn who you are before you can every really know what you want in life.
So my darling girl, go be beautiful…show that man all that he has lost. Not just your outward beauty but the inner glow of knowing that you are standing there in front of him as a confident SINGLE WOMAN. Proclaiming to the world that you NO LONGER will let his SHAME reflect on your LIFE.
Your husband cheated on you, you will need some time to discover all the things you have been missing all these years. I don’t want to be your consolation prize…go experience being a SEXY, SINGLE WOMAN & then come back to me if you still choose me. Know that I love you today more than ever & I look forward to meeting the you that you will become.

Here’s the last time I wrote about Manic Monday
We had another action packed weekend; Tallen’s 2nd birthday party, moving out of the John’s Lake house, yardsale, Nurf guns in church, kickball & induced labor…*Giggles.
Somehow Monday finds us all tired but fired up at the same time! Spending the weekend surrounded by your friends & family makes everything we do all week worth it. Maybe the sunshine streaming in through my windows is making me a lil sentimental:D All I know is that I feel happy & ready for another successful week!
Only wrench in the works…package is a little late so title will call me when I need to come closing): Catching up on e-mails, searches, blogs, events, snail mail & bills while I wait! *Giggles
Did I mention my friend, local celebrity artist Robin Pedrero & I were both thinking about growing some tomatoes!?! I figure it will help me teach the kids about VALUE & GARDENING:D Plus, I love fresh ORGANIC tomatoes…*YUM! Eating fresh home grown veggies helps save money & improves a family’s health too.
When I was in Denmark in the springtime, I think I realized how lucky we really are to have such great weather here in Florida but how we waste it. We could all have tiny victory gardens & grow our own food while teaching our children but we go through drive thru’s & let Wii watch our kids instead. In places where they have winter, SPRING is like a breath of fresh air & everyone comes outside to stretch the sleepy winter out of their lives!
Terry & I decided we will drive through our FARM NEIGHBORHOODS & take pictures of the BEST YARDS! We love to focus on wonderful hardworking people who really go the extra mile to make their neighborhoods special & beautiful. We all moved here to raise our families & build a community…I think it’s nice to show them how much we appreciate it:D

If I knew how to photoshop, I would insert an ice bucket w/chilled champagne next to a pitcher of Florida orange juice. Anne & I would be sipping mimosas rolling our eyes at the boys making silly noises, fighting off the giggles so we don’t spill our drinks.

Day 1. Inventory.
As a NEW Store Manager, my 1st day on the job I took a close look at my store’s last physical inventory. Then I watched how things were being done w/no outside direction. Then I watched how they DID their physical inventory for that next quarter. At that point I would have enough information to make an action plan to achieve the desired results. Increased productivity.
As a Single Mom, my 1st day on the job involved praying to the Lord that this boy would just latch on & save me the $24 a can instant formula cause Jeffrey was 8lbs 12oz 23inches of screaming wide awake boy:D My priority was getting food in that baby’s mouth, clothes on his sweet behind & a promise that he would have things BETTER than I had it….& I had it pretty good. As the days go by I get a little better at hoping for the best but planning for the worst.
Both these roles are one and the same. Women of today still play their roles as loving mothers WHILE providing much needed leadership & guidance in the executive workforce. Mom-preneur’s are beginning to dominate the workforce creating start up business’s often spurring local economy. From flea markets to multil-million dollars Realtors, Mom-preneur’s are helping LEAD America out of this recession…
Homework: Take inventory of where you are; in life/work/relationships right now. Take a serious look at where you want to be. Taste it, walk around in it, seriously consider every tangible aspect of your life. Write it all down. Compare it to where you are now. Now, how long do you want it to take you to get there? It’s your choice…if you start now & work quickly you could reach your goal tomorrow. Show your work via attachment or comment.
Fact: If you sit here wondering you will never get there.

Sometimes when I drive out of town I like to hit the SEARCH button on my radio just to see “what comes up…” Tonight on my drive to Tampa I was kinda in a COUNTRY mood so I fell in LOVE w/Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now.” Maybe it’s because it’s my BFF Marty’s birthday week or maybe it’s the pouring rain but this song just really touched me.
