“HAPPY TUESDAY everyone!”

We REALTORS survived another Manic Monday just in time to get educated & energized this morning at our weekly Sales meeting.

REALTORS across the country share this time honored tradition of coming together as a team to brain storm, compare success stories, get updates on real estate related legal issues & recognize each others accomplishments or challenges. The rest of the world revolves around a 5 day work week but for REALTORS & real estate professionals, our Tuesday sales meeting are the sundial of our non stop work week!

“The United Postal Service may deliver in rain or sleet or snow, REALTORS do all that & more but for FREE! We don’t get paid until the “mission is complete,” all parties are happy & all the other bills are paid. No one knows this better than our REAL ESTATE family of co-workers, peers and affiliates.”

Monday’s are always busy but after an action packed weekend spent meeting the State’s top REALTOR’s, RPAC chairmen & FUNdraising professionals, I’m starting off the week way behind on my “real job’ of REAL ESTATE.

My TWITTER follower/friend @ARealEstateGeek said this morning while sending off an offer 2 a short sale lender.  “Please don’t get stuck, please don’t disconnect, please don’t take too long to review, please…” I’m thinking that must be on God’s short list of top REALTORS prayers…*Giggles.

Christmas in September?

“If the early BIRD gets the WORM…then the busy ELVES start preparing for CHRISTMAS in SEPTEMBER!”
  
  Everyone knows that Santa is constantly “making a list, checking it twice” but few people know how much work “real live elves” like Cuqui Whitehead have to do to make Clermont’s ”Visits with Santa” run smoothly.
From handmaking their own costumes to finding snowflakes in the middle of Central Florida, there are no lengths that our community volunteers won’t go to in order to make the upcoming holiday season a success regardless of the media’s “recession worries.”
 
“I’m tired of negative, we have to get on with it already. I know someone has to do it, so I do it. No one person can do everything but we can each try to do as much as we can, I at least try,” says Kiwanis President & Watson Property Management executive assistant Cuqui Whitehead as she unloads her infamous ragtop Red Mustang!

“Every day, really is the “1st day of the rest of your life.” Make the most of it, do those things you’ve always said you wanted to do. “Volunteering,” topped the list, when people were asked “What do you regret not doing more of in the past year, that you pledged to do at the beginning of the year?” Helping Cuqui (or people like her) make life a little sweeter for the children in our community, is a wonderful way to bring joy to the lives of many & have fun at the same time.
 
Please take a minute to think about how you can use your special skills to help others around you in your community. Many people choose to volunteer to do things they love to do anyway, like sing for the elderly at assisted living facilities or coach a Pop Warner football/cheerleading team.
“Even the smallest action can make a big change if everyone does their part!”

in American history,

was also the day we REUNITED

as “One Nation under God.”


Today is a day that has been significant to all Americans because of the Twin Towers, Pentagon & related terrorist bombings since 2001.

Long time residents of Central Florida however, have had September 11th marked because it’s the birthday of Lake County’s most loved celebrity ANN DUPEE.

Tonight Ann has openes her heart & her lodge to allow the community to remember those lost at 911, celebrate the resilience of it’s everyday hero’s and the day God blessed the us all with the gift of compassion; wrapped up in the tiny lady we know as Ann Dupee.

“Everyone knows the best things in life come in little packages!” *Giggles…Kimber

Small in stature but BIG in political involvement, charitable works and educating her community.  Using all her God given talents; Ann has operated our local newspapers, sat on the City Council, broken gender barriers through Kiwanis as it’s 1st female member, embodied the hand of welcome to our business community as Ambassador of the Chamber of Commerce & perhaps defined B.P.O.E. as also meaning “Best People On Earth.”

IN HONOR OF THIS DAY & THIS AMAZING WOMAN:

“I hope everyone makes today a day to remember. Every day has the potential 2 be historical …make a change. START NOW.”

Football & Chamber BAH!!!

“I must be getting wiser in my old age or just finally realize that I can only do, what I can do. If people don’t appreciate what I do accomplish for them then they are not worth volunteering my time to in the first place, RIGHT?”

jeffrey footballWell today is really EXCITING because it’s Thursday which is (OF COURSE) Jeff’s football game day. He & his East Ridge JV team will be traveling to their long time Rivals South Lake HS. This is the first time this year these two teams meet up so there are sure to be fireworks when these teams lock horns:D *Special thanks go out to the East Ridge boosters & Jewell Tufts for helping keep our team fueled & ready for action. I am not sure I mentioned it but my phone had a little melt down during my Swine Flu prevention adventure. Too many calls, texts, pics & fabric softener:D

Needless to say, I find myself “sans” CELL PHONE…and I’m a REALTOR, in Central FLORIDA…Historic CLERMONT…former fastest growing community in AMERICA…during a time when REAL ESTATE INVESTING is at it’s peak! *YIKES*

I’m so excited that a portion of our proceeds go to the new Mulberry Inn Home project from New Beginnings located in Historic Downtown Clermont Florida:D They are a wonderful charity to support!
