The Old Mulberry Inn in Historic Downtown Clermont on West Ave. was built by the family Dolores Walker of the South Lake County Historical Society.
Like every good story must have, today’s adventure involves a fairytale castle of sorts. The Old Mulberry Inn as local residents like to call it, has been an amazing landmark for decades & now is being transformed into a home for displaced women & children. The gracious home was given a fresh breath of life & a NEW BEGINNING.
Surviving the years, this fairytale castle was well built. Standing the test of time to allow New Beginnings to utilize it to help our communities most deserving: it’s children. Mother’s and children ages 10 and under will call this new facility HOME until they have a chance to get back on their feet.
PLEASE come out and support this worthy CAUSE. TODAY from 9am until 2pm VOLUNTEERS from all over the map will come to HELP BUILD A BETTER FUTURE, together. If you can pick weeds, pass out water or even just shout cheers of encouragement: WE WANT YOU!
