IT’S FREEZING OUTSIDE!!!!
“If you were cold last night and reached for an extra blanket, you are not alone. The Central Florida Coalition for the Homeless service around 650 people a night, who don’t have a warm house to sleep in and unfortunately not even a blanket to huddle under to find warmth.”
I AM NOT ASKING FOR YOUR MONEY, I AM NOT ASKING FOR YOUR TIME….JUST DIG OUT THOSE BLANKETS THAT DON’T MATCH YOUR DRAPES AND GIVE THEM TO PEOPLE WHO ONLY WANT A CHANCE TO STOP THE CHILL FROM REACHING THEIR SPIRITS. PLEASE HELP NOW!
I don’t want to preach here…we all are going through hard times.
All I ask is that if you have an extra blanket, please drop it off at Watson Realty Clermont, 1390 N Hancock Rd. Clermont Fl 34711.
We will take any blankets that are clean and usable. We don’t need brand new ones or even pretty ones, just warm ones.
This is America, as Americans we stick together to serve and protect the members of our community…all of them.

About 20% of the people served are children who have no choice. The number of homeless will continue to increase as this housing and credit crisis continues. The face of the homeless in America changes everyday and one in three people are facing homelessness or know someone who has. The fact you are reading this today proves that there are people in America living on the streets right now. Good people who may have lost their jobs, escaped an abusive relationship or evn been the vistims of fire or natural disaster. Don’t judge, just give. PLEASE.
