Originally the private collection belonging to Danish engineer Mr. Leif Sonne. Sonne began collecting the unopened bottles in 1968, the collection grew to nearly 10,000 by the early 1990′s. Due to sheer size, the collection was transferred to The Carlsberg Breweries in 1993 and has been a tourist favorite every since, viewed by more than 135,000 visitors per year.

beer-collection Organized in geographical order, then by breweries and brands. Bottle to bottle, side by side, the entire collection measures 1,213 meters or about 3,979 feet (more than 11 football fields)! The Guinness Book of World Records confirmed in February 2007, that this was the largest collection of beer bottles in the world! (It took a team the whole day just to count them all).

Social Networking for Realtors

chamber-socialitesEach week Realtors pick a day to gather together and “circle the wagons” so to speak. We “hunker down” and take stock in what is working, what isn’t and what we need to do to get where we want to go. Each week we focus on new things that may help us keep up in this ever changing industry.
Why would a Realtor in Clermont Florida be worth your time to follow? Once you remember that Clermont Florida was once, the fastest growing city in America, things start to get interesting. We went from the top of the real estate boom to where we are now…a community struggling to hold onto it’s roots and embrace this new era of reconstruction.
Only the best of the best are still in the Lake County real estate market. Often know as the “Suburban South Beach” when it comes to social and charitable events, Clermont is home to country folk and super stars a like.
On rolling hills, nestled between Bella Collina and Metro Orlando, Clermont offers the best that life has to offer. Come on down and see us sometime soon. We are having a Social Networking Forum Tuesday 27/01/09 at 9am sales meeting. Watson Realty agents are welcome to attend. Any realtor or interested party can call 352-243-7374 for availability. This is a free educational oppertunity and not to be missed. Bring your thoughts and an open mind!
ORLANDO AGENTS: see how we are staying on top of the REAL ESTATE MARKET!

JAMILIA WHITE: puts her SOLD home on the map!

JAMILIA WHITE: puts her SOLD home on the map!

Well, I think we all spent yesterday reviewing our lives and where we as a country and as individuals are going. My New Years resolution was to rebuild my life doing what I really want to do. Be myself, be honest and let things happen as they will.
My biggest regret is that I have constantly shifted my life and my actions around what is expected by others. The key to success is to do what you love to do. If you meet people while doing it, they will be more like you and have similar points of view. People with like interests work well together. Another reason social networking really does work! lol.
This year and every year, I want to educate people. I don’t want the fear of the unknown to prevent anyone from getting what they want. I want to share the secret, “Your achievements are only limited by your dreams. DREAM BIG!”
If you want to be a rodeo cowboy or a rock star, “Do it!” Just be sure to investigate the pitfalls and the job requirements and be prepared to fall…a lot.
2009 is a year to REGROUP, REBUILD AND RALLY ROUND THE FLAG BOYS!!!
Help me make a difference in our community. Get out there and do something! Don’t like it? Make it better. Can’t beat ‘em join ‘em. Nothing changes without people busting their butts to make it change. We are all either a part of the problem or part of the solution.
DO NOT LET TV AND NEGATIVE PEOPLE TAKE AWAY YOUR DREAM OF HOME OWNERSHIP!

President OBAMA

presobama

As I sat home sick, trying to catch the best coverage on every channel, twitter/the internet, I wished I had planed the day better. I had bought flags to hand out which were piled in my office waiting for new homes. I had wanted to help make this day memorable for my son, so that in 20 years he could have a good story to convey when people asked him “what were you the day Obama went into office?”
Listening to him speak, President Obama was not JFK like at all. He was Barack Hussein Obama. Poster boy for the real face of America. The very embodiment of the melting pot of the world. If the Kennedy’s had the golden days of Camelot, Bushes the Golden years of the Republican rein, then Barack Obama is the Golden child. His young family, growing and learning what millions of Americans are right now…the world as they know it has changed.

His speech pivoted on the theme, “the time for childish games is over.” As Americans we must admit to our past mistakes, indulgences and use them as mortar for our future. We must all unite, using our shared struggle to build better lives for our children, each other.

The first real family to live in the Whilte House in my lifetime, the Obama’s are me and my friends and family. At the age that most American’s buy their first homes, establish roots in their community and take an active role in their church, PTA and civic organizations. The Obama’s seem like serious over achievers!
Admitedly a die hard conservative, I am a patriot first and foremost. I stand behind my country and my justly elected President. I must also admit, he’s grown on me. I like the person he appears to be and I can understand where his head is. As a father of small children and a loving wife I believe his focus is on long term. Looking forward to college funds for his children and energy solutions for future generations is not so different after all. Their stage in life lends itself to where America as a country is right now.

REGROUPING, REBUILDING AND RALLYING TOGETHER!

As I listen to his inaugural speech, I put a pot of hot water on to boil, clean the house and make my grocery list. I decide to take a minute myself to write down things I know I really need to do to. After the house is so clean it smells like Pine Sol and I’m sitting with my Earl Grey and biscuit, I chuckle to myself. My son will remember today was the day his mom cleaned the house in the middle of the day and made fresh baked biscuits and hot cocoa.

I began to giggle when I wonder what Barrack & Michelle must be thinking right now. Probably, “What have we got ourselves into.” I found President Obama did exactly what I didn’t know I

wanted him to. He spoke to me like a father to his father when making a plan to get back on track. He made us all take responcibilty for our past, make plans for our future and gave us hope. He, like us, has no option. We must make this work. Together…”YES WE CAN!”

Hopes High as Obama Takes Office, Markets Slip

By: Reuters | 20 Jan 2009 | 06:36 AM ET

“Barack Obama takes over as U.S. President Tuesday with hopes riding high he can conjure up a rescue that will jolt the world’s biggest economy back to life and contain the financial crisis ravaging global markets.

The first African-American to become U.S. president will take his oath against the backdrop of plunging world stock markets, prospects of a drawn-out U.S. and global downturn, a trillion dollar federal deficit and fears of more crippling bank losses.

As if to underscore the challenges, stock markets in Asia dropped sharply on Tuesday in the wake of European losses after Britain’s multi-billion-pound bank rescue unveiled on Monday failed to assure investors…. “

Martin Luther King Day

19/01/09 Monday, Martin Luther King Day

  mlk-day

So it’s Monday already. Which in Realtor lingo is kind of like a Sunday since we spend most of our weekends showing houses and following up with the rest of world that get’s to work 9-5 M-F. Today my wings are kind of clipped and I feel like the internet & social networks are my only link to rest of world. My faithful Palm Centro is stuck in FaceBook photo upload mode. Giggles n’ Grins. I know this stuff only happens to me. If you call me I can talk to you but it also is going strait to voice mail just to mess with my mind. This all leads me to believe there are other forces at work here. (Twilight Zone music in background). *Wish they would have new Twilight Zones in Black and White the way they did back then. Good stuff though…Sorry FOCUS>
So Ms.Linda, Sgt. Steady (Please be reading this) DJ3….As Kirka Collier would say “CALL ME”
I’m just cleaning, researching, paying a month’s worth of bills on a three months earnings (Realtors may work between 3 months to a years before they ever see a penny for their work. Buyer may not be financially ready so we get them ready. Then when ready we take time to find the house that fit’s their life. FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS! Unless you are just so rich you can change houses when your family grows or gets smaller. Think about it? The big day (closing) Brokerage gets money first then gives the Realtor their share after checks clear, lol.)
Oh and I got to do a full story on the SHIP program. Don’t want this seemingly SOLID GOLD CARROT take people down the wrong path to a dead end. SHIP’s sail and I think we all missed the boat until Mr. Obama fills the cup back up around mid year. BUT, that’s another story. Crazy Busy, send me some links if you got the links. Tax Time?

http://www.kcbs.com/Oakland-Residents-Receive-Tax-Help/1994065

Photo/link at http://www.kcbs.com/Oakland-Residents-Receive-Tax-Help/1994065

It’sa New Year. Last year is over and with it all the problems and concerns, right? Wrong. Time to take a body count. That’s right let’s face it. Last year was one of the worst for Americans in recent history.* After we pick ourselves up and brush ourselves off the first thing we do is see if anythings hurt. Take inventory. The sooner we know where we stand, the easier it is for us to get to where we are going.

Taxtime is now. Now while you are sweeping away the cobwebs of ’09 be sure to save any receipts, check stubs, bank statements, W-9′s or financial documents you may find lying around the house. Better record keeping should be on everyone’s New Year’s resolution list, I know it is on mine. Keeping track of what you are spending can save you thousands of dollars in unclaimed tax credits.

Ina recent article from Kiplinger.com they had this to say, “The opportunity for mistakes is almost unlimited. The most recent numbers show that about 46 million of us itemized deductions on our 1040s — claiming nearly 1 trillion dollars’ worth of deductions. That’s right: $1,000,000,000,000! Another 85 million taxpayers claimed more than half a trillion dollars’ worth of standard deductions. Some of those who took the easy way out probably shortchanged themselves.”

Why would seemingly intelligent Americans opt out of taking more deductions than they possibly could have? Fear and disorganization. They were afraid it would be a waste of time…Now more than ever time is money. Recently many of us have more time on our hands than we would like, with the slowing economy. Perfect time to get back to basics. Forget the past poor habits and begin forming new ones…

Alchemist

The Alchemist, Paulo CoelhoBest-selling author of “The Alchemist”, Paulo Coelho, is breaking all the rules in traditional publishing. Against the advice of industry insiders, Coelho started a WordPress blogsite, http://piratecoelho.wordpress.com/
At a recent Digital, Life, Design conference in Munich, Coelho related his success through digital file sharing.
“In 2001, I sold 10,000 hard copies. And everyone was puzzled. We came from zero, from 1000, to 10,000. And then the next year we were over 100,000. [...]

I thought that this is fantastic. You give to the reader the possibility of reading your books and choosing whether to buy it or not. [...]

So, I went to BitTorrent and I got all my pirate editions… And I created a site called The Pirate Coelho.”
In today’s on-line piracy wars, Coelho has seemingly taken the “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em,” method of thought. Other high level artists have followed suit, offering similar samplings of their work. Jason Mraz and other well know muscians have teamed up with Face Book to provide applications including streaming video/audio and free downloads.
“Believe it or not, the sales of the book increased a lot thanks to the Pirate Coelho site…” the author confirms.

Does this sharing of information actually stimulate sales?

Reality is Perception

*While writing my recent article for Kimberanna.com I stumbled upon a photo that made me pause to reflect. (Dug http://villageofjoy.com/amazing-3d-sidewalk-art/ ) The photographer featured Rosalind Rattus, melded Art & Photography. Her pic perfectly described my Reality is Perception theory.
Example Of 3D Sidewalk Art: The Artist "Faces" Himself! by RedRoseRattus.
My outlook on life is that you are what you create.
Wake up every morning, put on your make up or don’t.
Do what makes you feel beautiful, special, unique.
Every experience you have, every article you read, every friend that you make sculpts the ‘package’ that the world sees when they look at you.
If this is true, “Can I change who I am, by changing how I appear?”
Fake it til you make it?
The answer is simpler than that.
Just be who you are…
Example Of 3D Sidewalk Art: Square Of Slabs "Removed" From Sidewalk! by RedRoseRattus.
The answer is a secret, that everyone knows the answer to…
Can you control your own destiny?
Obviously more learned men than I, (Bob Costos, lol.) have wrestled with this question throughout history.
If you do something seven times, (I think it’s seven, couldn’t find it atm) it becomes habit.
Yet MIT discovered even if you take the treat at the end of the maze away, the rats would still follow the same path hoping for the cheese. Why?
They fear the unknown more than the known.
When faced with a path that we perceive as safe or known, most of us will always pick that one, even if the only reward is knowing you will get somewhere.
EDUCATE YOURSELF.
Knowledge is power and is available to everyone.
FREE.
Pick who you want to be and become it…

Example Of 3D Sidewalk Art: A "Dead Fly" Lies On The Sidewalk! by RedRoseRattus.
We all have challenges that pop up, usually when we think we can handle them the least.
Once again we must train our minds with relativity and overcome like David did Goliath.
The size of the problem may seem trivial when compared to the bigger picture.
You may be losing your home but your family is safe, you are healthy.
Your child wasn’t killed to avoid paying child support.
We have built ourselves up to the point we are today once, so we can and will do it again.
This time learning from our mistakes.
Build a solid foundation.
Wealth is not the measure of happiness.
Happiness is the measure of wealth.
Example Of 3D Sidewalk Art: A "Coca-Cola Bottle" Lies On The Sidewalk! by RedRoseRattus.
On Friday when your check hits the bank and you feel like a little pick me up, does taking the kids to McDonald’s to have Happy meals and play in the balls seem more special when you clear $600 a week than $10K?
Do you bring your camera to catch every smile or grin?
Do the kids know the difference?
Did you take the time to tie up their shoes or grumble for them to hurry up?
Don’t regret the past while you ignore the present.
Reality is always perception through the eyes of a child.
Our actions create their reality.
Surround yourself with them and learn perspective.
Sometimes just having them around makes me feel like I do when I see an old fashioned coke bottle.
That stolen moment ripped from the past…I pop off the cap and I’m back in Nelsonville, Ohio sitting by my Aunt Lorna, middle of summer watching the Parade of the Hills.
The world is at my feet.
“When I grow up, I want to be just like you!”, I coo as I sit watching her selling tickets for the Professional Woman’s Club.
“25 cents a ticket, 5 for $1. Win this nice quilt!” I mimic.
A kid again… Future President of the United States.

Example Of 3D Sidewalk Art: The Artist Reaches For His "Box Of Chalks"! by RedRoseRattus.
Now that you know the secret, you have the tools to create whatever future you truly desire.
Not what will get you the big house or the shiney car.
The you that enjoys your job, that doesn’t have anyone to answer to nor anyone to blame.
Let go and become what you really are inside.
Break down all your walls, use the tools your maker gave you and design a reality that reflects who you really are.
Not what the world has forced you to become.
BE HONEST. BE YOU.
Example Of 3D Sidewalk Art: Batman & Robin Rescue The Artist From a "Tall Building"! by RedRoseRattus.
Let the real you become the new you, the new you should be the real you.
Take stock of what you know you are.
What you like, what you can change, what you want to change.
Why do you need to change?
Write it down, use it as a reminder of what NOT to do.
Never forget the mistakes you made wear them as a badge of honor.
BATTLE SCARS…
What do you want? Visualize it.
Taste it, smell it, walk around inside it…literally, figuratively whatever.
You must know where you are going in order to make a roadmap for the trip there.
If you don’t know the way, follow someone.
Ask for directions.
It’s going to be a long journey, pack light.
Bring only your faith, thirst for knowledge and an open heart.
Let the inner hero in you breath life.
LIVE.LOVE.LAUGH…leave a LEGACY.

Danish Royal Theater

Royal Theater/Opera House= Det Kongelige Teater

It’s cold. The sun is shining brightly, if you stand still someplace place directly in it, you warm up…but the wind coming in off the ocean is frigid. I nestle closer. Inhaling, I feel alive as the salty sweet air cleanses my lungs and plays jump rope with my hair. The guide explains the history behind every building. She speaks four languages and adds humor to each, as she attempts to focus our gazes upon this massive building perched at the ocean’s edge. This one in particular is a National treasure, the Royal Theater/ Opera House. Morten whispers the secrets about the theater that aren’t in the travel guides. His words dance across the waves as the sound of his voice transports me back to the beginning and I discover the history it has to offer…

“The History of the Royal Danish Theatre
In the period 1722-1728, the Danish dramatist Ludvig Holberg, in an unprecedented outburst of creativity, wrote a series of comedies that laid down the foundations of modern Danish theatre. His works were staged in the ‘Comedy House’ (Commediehuus) in Copenhagen’s Lille Grønnegade. The advent of state pietism put an abrupt end to the festivities in Lille Grønnegade, but after the death of the pious king Christian VI in 1648, amore liberal attitude prevailed in the capital. A small group of actors, remembering and saluting Holberg’s ‘poetical rapture’, exploited the new cultural atmosphere in Copenhagento form their own company. On the occasion of the opening of the theatre in 1748, they were just 8 actors and 4 actresses, and they performed two French comedies. A company of this size was only just able to fill out the roles involved in a revival of the ‘good old days’ of Holberg and Molière’s comedies in Lille Grønnegade. Later on, there followed the comedies of Beaumarchais and his roguish barber Figaro – and a vogue for sentimental German drama." …..read more at www.kglteater.dk/
